Surplus - Request Account Deletion

At Surplus, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our app and would like to delete your Surplus account, you're in the right place.

🔐 What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

• Your account details (email, name, phone number) will be permanently deleted.
• All your order history, saved addresses, and payment methods will be removed.
• Any stored location or device data will also be erased.
• Most personal data is deleted within 30 days of your request.
• Transaction and accounting records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by UAE tax and commercial laws, as described in our Privacy Policy.

📬 How to Request Account Deletion

Please send an email to: support@getsurplus.ae with the subject line: Delete My Surplus Account

Include the following in your email:

• Your registered email address or phone number
• Reason for deletion (optional)

We will process your request within 5-7 business days and notify you once your data has been removed.

🧾 Want to Delete Only Some Data?

If you want to remove specific personal data (like your address, payment method, or order history) without deleting your entire account, please contact us at support@getsurplus.ae.
